MICA Publishes 2009-2010 Edition of Industry Fact Book
WASHINGTON, D. C. September 15, 2009—Mortgage Insurance Companies of America (MICA) today released the latest version of its annual fact book, which provides a comprehensive overview of the private mortgage insurance (PrivateMI) industry.
The 51-page publication explains what PrivateMI is, how it developed and provides key statistics and industry information.
The cover of the new MICA Fact Book features the organization's theme, "PrivateMI—today's smart choice," referring to the advantages of a privately insured low down payment mortgage compared with other housing finance options.
Low down payment mortgages with PrivateMI give borrowers the security of affordable, predictable and cancelable premiums which are also tax deductible for many families.
