MICA Publishes 2008-2009 Edition of Industry Fact Book
WASHINGTON, D. C. September 17, 2008—Mortgage Insurance Companies of America (MICA) today released the latest version of its annual fact book, which provides a comprehensive overview of the private mortgage insurance (PrivateMI) industry.
The 52-page publication explains what PrivateMI is, how it developed and provides key statistics and industry information.
The cover of the new MICA Fact Book features the organization's theme, "PrivateMI—today's smart choice," referring to the advantages of a privately insured low down payment mortgage compared with other housing finance options.
Low down payment mortgages with PrivateMI give borrowers the security of affordable, predictable and cancelable premiums which are now also tax deductible for many families.
